1. You get to go somewhere
This is generally a more interesting idea than going nowhere.
2. You get to make your own pace
Unless you’re on a deadline, you get to go where the road takes you.
3. Sightseeing stopovers
As above. You never know what’ll you’ll find.
4. Dinky motels where they still serve breakfast through a hutch straight into your room
They still exist right?
5. Junk food
What, it’s not like you can help it and you need to sugar to stay alert.
6. Driving Play List
Perfect opportunity to play whole albums of songs.
7. Singalong to Driving Play List
Natch.
8. Finding the biggest everythings. Sheep, Banana, Pineapple, Lobster
It’s unAustralian not to.
9. I Spy
Unfortunate but at some point you probably will revert to this.
10. Making your friends jealous
