Mum Shines a Light Where It Needn’t Go
Mum: There’s this light glowing from my phone.
Me: Does it have a torch?
Mum: I said my phone.
Me: I know what you said. Does your phone have a torch?
Mum: Why would it have a torch?
Me: So it can have a light glowing from it.
Mum: Oh, my phone has a torch. How do I turn it off?
Me: How did you turn it on?
Mum: I didn’t.
Me: It doesn’t just come on by itself.
Mum: It must.
Me: No.
Mum: Must’ve butt torched.
